Calling UNISON Young Members

UNISON has around 63,000 young members. If you are a UNISON member under 27 years of age, you are automatically entitled to participate as a young member.

UNISON Glasgow City Branch is currently looking for young members to join their group.

The group works to encourage recruitment, provide a voice for young members and give them the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to participate in the union.

UNISON encourages young members to get involved in every level of the organisation. At regional level young members get together to plan and organise campaigns and discuss ideas and experiences.

Young members make a difference in the workplace by campaigning on the issues that affect them directly, such as job security and training, apprenticeships, workplace rights, pay and conditions problems and bullying.

As a young member you can take part in all UNISON campaigns. You also have the power and support to act against inequality or discrimination in the workplace and improve conditions for all.

As a member of UNISON, and our exciting young members' group, you have the opportunity to make real changes in your workplace.

If you are interested in joining the group, please contact branch on 552 7069 or email  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
